Well you made my day. And yes the irony of ‘I want to do whatever I want to do’ — well it is all well and good while the government is on my side, but so many fail to imagine a time when it is not. My “favorite” is contraception which I wrote up for The Federalist back when I wrote for them.
And I do find the confiscation threat scenarios interesting. Assuming they do find enough people willing to invade homes to confiscate arms and arrest their owners — probably with mass violations of the 4th Amendment and Posse Comitatus — where would they incarcerate them all, after of course the great Habeas Corpus question is settled?
