Oh, good find on Barbara’s piece. I’ll tell her. And when you see a piece from me soon about how national idea leaders talk, talk, and talk and the same, unsolved, issues churn though the news, this will be one of the examples I’m thinking of. Life, life, life shout the advocates — and they aren’t wrong. But no one is hearing them because the idea of being against life is too awful to contemplate. All the while, the concept of women’s ownership of children, an unintended consequence that we might have made a successful stand against, ripples out to horrible effect.
