Nope, it isn’t. It’s even a title of a book from the 80’s.

I think you are referring to the ancient Ecclesiastes theme, “There is nothing new under the sun.” True, and one of the reasons I see no way to fix this problem. Having to realearn what has come before is a human nature thing. For our modern era the dependence on experts is a distinguishing feature, although, it has happened before too. A perennial problem, but still annoying.

And someone more cynical than me? I don’t know. I’m tough to beat on that right now. L
