No studies on this precise point, but some studies show better marriage rates a few years after joint custody (the legal, not physical kind) laws took effect. Anecdotal evidence from divorce lawyers and tangential study data suggest that if parents know joint physical custody is presumed, then that might affect low conflict (not one of the 4 A’s) divorce rates.
