I was at an event with Caitlin Moran a few years back. This point had gotten under her skin. Men were getting away with having women do all the work. Now, she did not acknowledge how we women set that up, pushing men out of the way, insisting we can do it better, training them to not dare interfere with anything, which is particularly obvious in the domestic sphere. And I don’t just mean everyday chores. We baked it in legal assumptions.
