Hollywood is a real problem here. I once had a long discussion with moms in London about a guy who was shot rather than tranked. He was shooting into residential back gardens from another house at the time. Hollywood gives us the impression that tranqulizers work instantly. They don’t. And that’s even if you math and your aim are accurate. And as you mention later, the dart team doesn’t have time for a committee vote. Tragedy all around, but the right call.
