Did I say it was conservative, or are you referring to the magazine in which it appears? In that case, IL is a collection of writings by conservative women. It’s not a collection of the supposed conservative position. In fact, highlighting the variety of conservative opinion is one of the reasons I started the magazine. We have an unearned reputation for monolithic thought.
