After the travel ban was announced, the reverend delivered a sermon outlining a Biblical argument for refugees but didn’t mention the ban. “As a nonprofit organization, there are limits to what we can say,” Henry pointed out. “There’s legislation to lift the gag order, but I think it’s a bad idea. Preachers shouldn’t be tempted to use the pulpit to push their personal political views.”
